FireLight was created after an electrical fire brought destruction to my home and studio. The happy ending: no one was hurt. If you missed the story, click to hear the tale. In the immediate aftermath of bone-deep grief and shock, I turned to my studio for solace. With no heat, no water, no lights, and little hope, this work poured out of me. It reminds me of the resilience of the human spirit to rise from the ashes.
