The Process

I ground, I open, I flow. The world falls away, I am line, color, and space.
As a martial artist, I was trained to focus beyond the target. I capture a moment of the movement, putting you into motion.
Yes, I paint with 2 hands.

Contemplate

Pause and contemplate. This is the most challenging part of painting. Stop? Or is there more glory if I continue?

TILT

I tilt and turn, flowing the paint

Edges

Glorious edges, my favorite part. Are you an edge-walker?

SPARKLE

We all need sparkle in our lives.
Yes, I have a sparkle collection. I am just now admitting to this.

FINAL

Drying in my studio.

Oh, to know when to stop! If lose my groove, I miss the moment of completion. Then the dreaded overpainting takes over.

I am percolating on this work; it may be weeks or months until I am ready to attempt resolution. What do you think?

The Studio

Because I was being photographed, I had to contain myself as I did not want to sling paint on my just married husband. Total Nirvana is slinging paint outside.
