I plunge into the great unknown of painting.

I stand in silence, arms outstretched, receiving, grounding, calming. My breath deepens. My body warms and tingles. I feel a ball of energy in my hands.

I stand before a circle canvas lying horizontal on my studio table. In my mind’s eye I have been painting for weeks, sometimes months, without the bounds of canvas. Now it is time to bring this expansion to life on canvas.

I paint infinity.

I glory in the nothingness of spontaneous expression. I am in flow. The world falls away. Creation pours out of me.
