I paint the dance of shadow and light. It is a dance we all know in some form. I am honored that images of my paintings will be the backdrop for Antigone by Sophocles.
Out of the blue I was contacted by the director of this production, Michelle Macau and a collaboration was formed.
The show is at the Open Eye Theater in the Catskill Mountain region of New York. Antigone runs from July 13–July 23, 2023.
If you are interested in any of the paintings, visit my web site at AliciaRPeterson.com or contact me directly via email at alicia@aliciarpeterson.com or by phone at 631-637-6937.
Some of the earlier works are no longer on my website but are waiting for a new space.
