(Lucky me, I am a friend!)

Eminent painter Stan Brodsky is curating an abstract art show for Ripe Art Gallery in Huntington NY. I am doing a happy dance, honored to be sharing wall space with my teacher and art pals.

But it does not always turn out in a smile… So let’s not even go there to the time in class at the Art League of Long Island when yet again I was at the dreaded critique easel. But this time, Stan would not even make one comment about my new painting. Instead he told me to “just take that down there is no hope for that.” I knew then he had the greatest respect for my work and faith in my resiliency.
